Several weeks ago, I assisted Steven Kim Photography for Teresa and Wei’s traditional ceremonies. The morning was filled with lots of laughter, joy, and tears by family and friends. There was definitely a lot of excitement in the air as the day progressed and happiness was oozing out of the two love birds. Congrats Teresa and Wei!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! and what’s a better way to ring in the new year than a newborn baby. Meet Isabell, she is Maddy’s new younger sister. You can tell Maddy is going to be a great big sister and these 2 girls are going to team up against their parents. We had a quick holiday session for Nicolette so that her parents could send out some Christmas cards. Although she was a little uncooperative, I managed to get a few useable pictures of her adorable smile and look.

Jacob and Kaiden are now 4 years old and growing fast before our eyes. Lucky for me, the portrait session every year gets easier and easier as they begin to cooperate more and more. This year the key was letting them play with my spare camera with the 35mm on it and as long as they could take pictures too, they smiled for me. After looking through the pictures they both took, they definitely have the natural ability to take use the camera even though most of the pictures were blurry. Here are some pictures from year 4.

Melody has already turned 1 when it feels like last week I had seen her for her newborn session. We celebrated her birthday at Bazin’s on Church in Vienna, Virginia. It was an afternoon of delicious food and lots of sweet treats for all the guests. Melody enjoyed her first tasting of sugar in her birthday cake and had fun with her little friends. Happy Birthday sweet girl!
