I met up Vanessa and Brad on a nice crisp fall morning a couple of weekends ago.  We took advantage of the sunshine and the pretty fall foliage around the park.  Just in the short time that I was with them, I could tell that Brad can always make Vanessa laugh and the love between them is undeniable.  Congrats Vanessa and Brad!

Everyone has been waiting for Timmy to pop the question to Hanh for many years now and so when he finally did it, lots of people were extremely happy for them.  We had an awesome time walking around D.C taking their engagement pictures and it was very fortunate for us that the rain held out.  Congrats guys and I can’t wait for the big day….which is this Friday!!

I’ve known Helen most of my life and I was so thrilled to hear that she got engaged and even more excited when she contacted me to take her photos.  After several reschedules due to the April showers, we were finally able to get out to the Tidal Basin to take some engagement pictures with the Cherry Blossoms and luckily the storms didn’t blow all the blossoms off the trees.  Helen and Patrick were great troopers to come out at the crack of dawn to beat all the tourists around the basin.  Here are some pictures from the session. Girl meets boy. Girl is from Virginia, boy is from Tennesse, and now they are together in LA.  It was just great timing that I was over in LA this past weekend and was able to do their engagement session at Laguna beach and at the Balboa Funzone where their dog Sake joined in.  It was a gorgeous afternoon and everyone was out and about enjoying it. Congrats on the engagement Michelle and Thi!!

Alyssa and I used to be on the track team together back in high school and we used to have a lot of fun hanging out at the meets.  Fast forward a few years and she’s about to get married.  So I was really excited when she contacted me about her photography needs and I happily agreed to help.  Alyssa and Tom got engaged on their European vacation a couple of months ago and since then have been busy planning their wedding.   We tried to capture what was left of the fall leaves and had a fun session checking out different places.  Congrats Alyssa and Tom and I can’t wait for your wedding next fall!

After many rescheduled sessions due to the weather and illness, we finally got together to take some engagement photos.  I met up Jen and Matt at Brookside Gardens in Maryland on the most perfect day, sunny, warm, and no wind. We walked around the park taking pictures and enjoying the nice day.  I’ve known Jen and Matt a long time and it’s great to see them getting married.  You can tell they enjoy each others company as they are constantly laughing together at something.  I can’t wait to capture your wedding day in a couple of weeks! It’s been a long time since I met up with Nora so I was thrilled to hear from her when she contacted me about some engagement photos.  We used to go to high school together and had great some great times on the track team.  After weeks of trying to schedule a session,  the weather decided it did not want to cooperate but we were finally able to have the engagement session this past weekend.  We went to a few spots around the city of Baltimore like Federal Hill, Fell’s Point, and around their condo.  Here are some of the favorites from the day.  Congratulations to Nora and Rob!

We lucked out with another gorgeous day on Sunday for Drea and Eric’s engagement session.  We started out at Reston Town Center, also the site of the actual proposal that I got to capture, and then headed over to a little park to capture some spring colors.  I’ve known Eric since kindergarten and it’s great to see him meet the love of his life.  They make each other laugh and have a great time together.  I can’t wait for their big day in September.  Congrats guys!

After many attempts to get together for an engagement session, it finally happened this past weekend.  No more snow, just warmth and a quick appearance of the sun.  We walked around the James Madison University campus in Harrisonburg, Virginia and took some photos but not before we headed to a nearby park for a family photo session with Heidi and Luther.  At first sight, Heidi and Luther are humongous poodles that are nearly my height when on their hind legs but they are the sweetest and friendliest dogs.   Heidi actually was apart of the proposal that Steve planned out for Sarah.   I can’t wait for their wedding next month, it should be a great time.  Congrats Sarah and Steve!!

This past weekend was one of the best one as far as the weather in a long long time.  I helped out my friend Claire with her engagement session out in Old Town Alexandria and everyone was out enjoying the glorious weather.  The sun was beaming and everyone had on their shorts with flip flops.  Teri and Lucas were a very cute couple and easy in front of the camera.   Here are some pictures from the session as well as some action photos of Claire at work.
