Vanessa and Brad made it official a few weeks ago at The Historic London Town and Gardens in Maryland in front of family and friends.  It was a beautiful day to celebrate such a joyous occasion and you could feel the love in the air.  Many laughs and tears were shared amongst the guests throughout the day.  They are such a fun couple, they made my job easy.  Congrats Vanessa and Brad! Hope you guys had fun on your honeymoon!

Several weeks ago, I assisted Steven Kim Photography for Teresa and Wei’s traditional ceremonies.  The morning was filled with lots of laughter, joy, and tears by family and friends.  There was definitely a lot of excitement in the air as the day progressed and happiness was oozing out of the two love birds. Congrats Teresa and Wei!

The crazy weather almost put a damper on Alyssa and Tom’s wedding but luckily the rain stopped in the late morning hours to resume with the outdoor ceremony.  Love was definitely in the air no matter what the weather was doing outside.  Minus the crazy wind outside, the sunny blue skies with the ridiculous white puffy clouds just made the day picture perfect.  Their group of friends were so energetic, the reception was an all out dance party for 3 straight hours and then some in the hotel bar after the reception was over.  Congrats Alyssa and Tom!!! I had a blast hanging out with you and all your fun friends!

Wendy and Troy had their wedding on Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.  You could tell these two were really in love with each other by the way they looked at each other. They also had smiles from ear to ear all day long and when Troy saw Wendy coming down the aisle, his jaw dropped to the ground and said “WOW.”   Their guests traveled from all over the world to witness the union of them and partied the night away.  Even after the reception ended, the party continued back at the hotel. Congrats Wendy and Troy, may you have a life filled with happiness and joy!

This past weekend’s wedding took the photobooth to a whole new level.  The guests had a blast in it and I think there were only 2 normal pictures the whole night while the rest were wild and wacky.  I couldn’t stop laughing when I was going through the pictures the next day.  Some guests couldn’t get enough of the booth and kept pushing the red button over and over. Here is a glimpse of the shenanigans that took place in the booth.

The weather had been so uncooperative lately but just like the engagement session, we had no rain!! It was a truly delightful day to celebrate Hanh and Timmy’s wedding.  We ate, we drank, we danced, and we took 550 pictures in the photobooth….it was a ridiculous good time for all who ventured out to the Mason Inn at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.  Everyone was cheesing from ear to ear all day and didn’t want the night to end.  The DJ kept saying 1 last song but extended that 3 times because there was still a bunch of people on the dance floor.  I hope you guys are having fun on your honeymoon and I can’t wait to see you guys when you get back.  Congrats Hanh and Timmy!!

Helen and Patrick made it official over the weekend surrounded by people who were happy to witness the special occasion.  They had their ceremony at St.Paul Chung Catholic Church followed by the reception at Dominion Valley Regency Country Club.  We were very fortunate enough to have the rain hold off all day when it wasn’t looking very promising all morning.  Helen and Patrick had a lot of friends from their childhood so it was a very special gathering for a joyous celebration.  All the guests enjoyed the food, drinks, dancing, photobooth, and the cutouts of Patrick’s face floating around.  Congrats guys!! Have a life filled with happiness and laughter!

Carley and Sean had a beautiful wedding in Jamaica last week but wanted to have a reception back home for family and friends who couldn’t make it down.  The reception took place at Top of the Town in Arlington, Virginia that had an amazing overlooking Washington D.C.  We were fortunate enough for the rain to hold up and the fog to clear so that people could enjoy the view from the balcony.  The newlywed was all smiles and giggles as they entertained their guests throughout the night.  The guests also had a great time with the photobooth.  Congrats Carley and Sean!!

This year I will be offering a PHOTOBOOTH for my clients for their weddings, events, and parties.  It’s a new element of fun that everyone will enjoy.  So if you’re interested, send me a message and we’ll talk.

And since a post with no picture is no fun, here’s one from the U.S Naval Academy Chapel taken a couple weeks ago. A really gorgeous place for couples but not so much for the photographers since they don’t let you go to the front during the ceremony.

Jennifer and Matthew had their wedding a couple of weeks ago and it was a perfect day.  The sun was out and it wasn’t too hot.  Throughout the day you could see the love between the two as they couldn’t stop smiling at each other from start to finish.  They were surrounded by all those who loved them as they celebrated this blessed day.  The ceremony took place at the new Korean Central Presbyterian Church (KCPC) in Centreville, Virginia followed by a friend’s reception at Copper Cannon Grill.  Congrats Jennifer and Matthew! A big thanks to Jennifer and Sam for assisting me throughout the day!

Karen and Joe tied the knot a couple of weeks ago and it seems like only yesterday we were out taking their engagement pictures.  I got an opportunity to be the 2nd shooter for Dennis Drenner on the wedding day.  The day was filled with tears, laughter, and joy as all of Karen and Joe’s friends gathered together to celebrate this blessed union.  You can definitely feel the love between Karen and Joe as you saw them staring into each others eyes.  The ceremony took place at the Riverside Baptist Church and the party continued at Fifteen Squares at the Renaissance Hotel.  Throughout the day you could see all the careful planning Karen did to make it the most perfect day, no little detail was missed, from the program to the assortment of desserts.  Congrats Karen and Joe!

Andrea and Eric tied the knot after 7 years this past Friday. The day went by so fast for the bride and groom which they shared with close family and friends.  The ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Herndon, Virginia and the reception was at the Hilton Hotel in Dulles, Virginia.  You could feel the love that Andrea and Eric had for each other as well as all the people that surrounded them with lots of laughter and tears.  Congrats Andrea and Eric!! Welcome back from your honeymoon, hope you had fun in Cabo!

Jen and Tong had a lovely wedding the other week at the Dulles Westin in Herndon, Virginia.  While the weather was scorching hot and humid, it was a huge relief that no rain drops were falling from the sky.  Everyone seemed to be having a great time from the start of the day. Jen and Tong were surround by all the people who loved them very much and shared many tears and laughter together.  I had a great time sharing this joyous occasion with the couple and their friends. Congrats to you guys!
