I got my creative side from my mom but I was never really an “artist.” I was always jealous at the fact that my mom and brother could draw people while I attempted with my stick figures. So photography was the answer. Ever since I was little, I was always interested in taking pictures of everything I saw around me. My first camera was the Fisher Price 110 that I got for Christmas when I was 7 and the picture taking has not stopped since.
I eventually began to fool around with my parent’s Nikon SLR(it was also the last time I touched a Nikon- Canon all the way since then) and loved how fast the pictures took versus a regular point and shoot. I progressed into the digital point and shoot when it came out and took many pictures with that throughout the years.
My love of taking pictures has continued on to capturing people’s unforgettable memories.
I am a documentary photographer specializing in wedding, engagement, and lifestyle portrait photography serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
