It’s been a year since I first visited Mr. Smiley, Alex, at the hospital. This past weekend he had his Madagascar themed 1st birthday party with some of his friends. Alex was in a great mood all afternoon and was smiling and laughing like crazy. The little guy was adored by everyone there especially his family, who put in all the time and effort to make sure the party was a success. Happy Birthday Alex!
