You see a lot of posts about Korean 1st birthdays but before that happens, Koreans also celebrate the 100 days of a child’s life. They consider this the difficult and fragile time of the child’s life. This is usually just celebrated amongst immediate family and relatives and not as big as the 1st birthday. Alyssa had family from Chicago and New Jersey, and New York come visit to celebrate this big moment. Her brother and cousins love her to pieces!
