Lately it’s been a cycle of weddings and football games. At weddings you usually know when certain things will happen and can usually catch it because it’s at a slow pace. In a football game, everything is happening so fast, you don’t know where you should be pointing your camera. I’m all about anticipating the moment so I made it a goal to improve on it during football games. As the weeks go by, I am learning to read the player’s body movements so that I can tell if they will be getting the ball. Just like in poker, everyone has a tell. So this past weekend’s game was an early one and the sun was still out. I thought shooting in the dark was hard but shooting when the sun is setting is even harder, there’s no control of the light, it’s just blaring bright!
